Steve Bicehouse has served as Director of Emergency Services for Butler County for the past 14 years, leading initiatives in emergency management, public safety communications, disaster preparedness, and interagency coordination. Prior to his current role, he served as Environmental Health and Safety Manager for UPMC Passavant, where he oversaw workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and emergency preparedness programs.

A dedicated public servant, Steve has been a member of Evans City Volunteer Fire Department since 1986 and is a Life Member of the department. Throughout his fire service career, he has held numerous leadership positions, including Chief, and remains committed to supporting the emergency responders and the public. With decades of experience spanning healthcare, fire service, emergency management, and public safety leadership, Steve is recognized for building partnerships, advancing innovative solutions, and strengthening community resilience throughout Butler County and beyond.
