Kate Burns is the Director of State and Local Innovation at FAS after joining by way of acquisition from MetroLab -- serving as the Executive Director. She has served for two mayoral administrations developing technology policy and now works with local governments and universities across the country to better connect research and science to local policy making and community programs.
