Sarah Pinter (she/her) is an Energy Program Specialist in the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s Energy Programs Office, focusing on resilience, security, and outreach programs. She is currently co-leading EPO’s Community Assistance Pilot Program, and has previously lead the Climate Action for Environmental Justice Communities Program and the Pennsylvania Comprehensive Energy Assessment to be released later this year. She also co-hosts the Clean Energy Opportunity Spotlight monthly webinar series. Prior to this role Sarah was an Executive Policy Specialist for Air and Energy in DEP’s Policy Office. Sarah is an alumna of the William and Hannah Penn Fellowship Program at DEP, and prior to moving to central Pennsylvania she was an Environmental Management Associate at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s National Homeland Security Research Center. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Specialized Studies in Mathematics and Statistical Environmental Science from Ohio University, and a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from American University.
