Steven has more than 30 years of professional practice in facilities management for cultural, educational, and healthcare institutions. In his current role as Assistant Vice President for Facilities Management and Campus Services, he is responsible for the stewardship of the buildings, infrastructure, and utilities on Carnegie Mellon’s seven-million-square-foot campus. He serves as a co-chair of the Provost’s Sustainability Initiative, and his division is the home of the university’s Green Practices efforts.
