Richard Policz has been involved in various forms of emergency services since graduating from high school. Previous employment with agencies in both Pennsylvania and West Virginia along with many years in emergency service equipment sales ranging from small municipalities to federal agencies.

He is a graduate from Waynesburg Central High School and Waynesburg College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Service Administration. He is a current 35+ year member and captain of Waynesburg Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company and is a hazardous materials technician with Fayette County Hazardous Materials Response Team. He also currently sits on the board for the Greene County Salvation Army, Greene County Senior Citizen Council, and Southwestern Pennsylvania the Area Agency on Aging advisory board.
